Attend Volunteer Orientation, where you learn about the mission of Chatham Habitat, the roles at the Restore, and how ReStores support affordable housing.

Sign up on VolunteerHub for open shifts, ideally at least three hours a month (or more if you would like!)
*You must be at least 12 years old to volunteer in the ReStore.
Typical Tasks
Work with the manager, staff and other volunteers to keep donations moving through our stock room, greet people and run the register, and get donated items priced and ready to hit the floor. You can also help keep store sections stocked and tidy, or assist with customer service by serving as a resource to shoppers on the sales floor.
Why Volunteer with ReStore?
Many of our volunteers come to the ReStore to be with people, stay busy and receive the satisfaction of giving back to the community. They may volunteer for 3 hours a month or as much as 100! We have volunteers aged 12 to 91 years, and there’s always something to do.
