This week, General Shale in Moncure, NC donated 9,390 pavers to the ReStore! Because our truck isn’t big enough to haul them, Wilson Brothers Trucking in Bear Creek donated their services to transport the bricks to us, and the Chatham County Schools Maintenance Department let us borrow their forklift to unload them. Last but not least, Brother Peacemaker, owner of Gates of Beauty Auto Body Shop in Carrboro donated $100 to cover the expenses associated with this donation.
Community partnerships like these keep us going here at Chatham Habitat! The pavers are currently on sale in the ReStore for $1 each. Stop by soon–I’m sure they’ll go quick!
