Meet the Leonzo Family
from left to right: Patty, Brandon, Jamie & Rosa
Patty Leonzo is a proud mother of four beautiful children, two of whom are grown up and living on their own. Both Patty and her mother Rosa were born in El Salvador, and her two youngest children, Brandon and Jamie, were born here in North Carolina. Patty has two jobs - she works full time at a poultry plant, and part time at Jordan Matthews High School. Brandon is a senior in high school and will graduate next June. Jamie - the baby of the family - is 14 years old and loves art, drawing, and playing with the dogs.
Rosa, Patty’s mother, loves to garden and care for plants. The whole family loves going to the movies with friends, and playing with their two dogs, Leo and Beha. When asked about her dreams for the future, Patty said “I would like to do many things: learn, get involved, volunteer, have my own business, and visit my father more in El Salvador. We are all very happy and are waiting anxiously for the day we can finally move into a place we can call home.”

CAT Volunteers
These kind folks from Caterpillar, Inc. volunteered their time to help us tear down an existing structure on this lot to make room for the house.
Care-A-Vanners
These two guys are Care-A-Vanners, which means they travel around the country in their RVs to work on Habitat sites - ours included! Huge thanks to Paul, Mike (pictured here), Greg, Kiowan, Meghan, and Thomas.
