Habitat Home Stores

Chatham Habitat is making a difference - one couch and a 2 x 4 at a time!

We operate two re-sale stores with a total of more than 10,000 square feet of floor space.

Merchandise is generously donated by individuals, businesses, contractors, and other organizations and then sold at below cost prices. All items are cleaned, inspected, and tested before they hit the sales floor. Inventory changes throughout the day as items are sold.

Revenue generated by the Home Stores is enough to fund approximately 4 to 6 Habitat houses for low-income families in our community per year.

In addition to serving families in need, the Home Stores help keep thousands of tons out of our landfills. It also provides the community with excellent bargains on quality merchandise.

At Home Store, you will find items for the home such as tables, dressers, couches, beds, chairs, desks, lamps, rugs, antiques, art, dishes, bookcases, entertainment cabinets, seasonal decorations, books, music, movies, televisions, computers, bedding, luggage, toys, jewelry, collectibles, and more.

At Home Store Too you will find hardware, building supplies and outdoor equipment such as doors, windows, cabinets, tools, tile, paint, lumber, appliances, plumbing, electrical supplies, light fixtures, sinks, lawn mowers, grills, vinyl floor covering, carpet, bicycles, exercise equipment, ceiling fans, play equipment, camping supplies, and more.

Hours

We are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays.

We are closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Thanksgiving day and Christmas.
